According to the media office of the Antiquities Authority in Tobruk, a citizen by the name of Abdulmoula Saif Al-Nasr handed in the statue known as Keesh Amun after finding it in an area called Qarya, north of a place known as the Cave of Omar Mukhtar.
The man who found the statue, handed it over to the Artifacts Monitor of Tobruk, who in turn traveled to the site to inspect it where they then found a statue of a woman with little of her features remaining.
