The Municipal Council of Tarhouna decided during a meeting with the security services of the city, the Social Council and civil society institutions, to impose a citywide curfew for 24 hours, and to suspend work in all institutions except for the health sector.

The municipal council explained via a statement, that the step came after the "breach of truce" agreed with the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, from the other side, referring to the Tripoli Protection Force, which clashed yesterday with the Seventh Brigade of Tarhouna, south of Tripoli.
