The Benghazi Association of Displaced People called on civil activists and national and international human rights organizations to bring international charges against Egypt and the UAE for violating international treaties, conventions and Security Council resolutions through their military interventions in Libya. The Association was surprised by what it described as a shocking silence, referring to the Presidential Council and High Council of State against the clear violation of Libyan sovereignty without taking any firm or clear diplomatic position on the matter to deter the blatant interference in internal affairs.

According to the flight schedule published by Libyan Airlines via its official Facebook page, the national airline company announced that they will begin operating four international destinations per week to and from Benina International Airport in Benghazi starting from July 15. The flights will travel to Alexandria, Amman, Istanbul and Tunis, in addition to two internal flights To Tripoli and Kufra.

The Ministry of Health of the UN proposed government announced in a statement issued on Sunday, that there is a state of emergency at all public hospitals in the capital and surrounding areas. The ministry sent a letter to the Khoms, Castelverde, Mselata, Tarhuna, Tajura and Sbeya hospitals in anticipation of any surge of cases coming as a result of the clashes that are taking place in the Gweya and Nshia areas, east of Tripoli. Clashes there erupted yesterday between forces loyal to the Presidential Council and others loyal to the Salvation Government.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) expressed its concern regarding recent clashes that sparked in Castelverde yesterday. In a post on their official Facebook page, the mission called for the immediate restoration of calm, protection of civilians and the prevention of further escalation. They also stated "Political differences are addressed through dialogue, not through the use of force."

The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) reported that clashes in the area of Castelverde led to the damage of power lines linking Khoms generating station and the generating station east of Tripoli. The company said in an official statement that the damage led to the isolation of the station in full and caused a spike in the electricity network, which led to the loss of power in both plants. The southern and western Tripoli generating stations also went offline and transmission lines from Khoms and Misrata were also affected. All of these factors could result in a full shutdown of the grid, warned the electricity company.

Gharyan Municipal Council issued a statement regarding the assassination of the director of Gharyan security department, Colonel Abdul Razzaq Amish, stressing that the perpetrators of this cowardly act will be "prosecuted, exposed and punished." The Council reiterated that these kind of senseless actions affect the security of the whole municipality of Gharyan and Libya. Three days of mourning were declared in the municipality of Gharyan for the spirit of the deceased for a period of three days.

The Ministry of Information and Communications said that the interruption in one of their communication cables was due to random excavations by the public in the area of Castelverde. The accidental damage caused by heavy machinery and diggers resulted in the disruption of communications of both Libyana and Madar telecommunications companies who operate mobile phone services to the cities of Misrata, Khoms, Bani Walid and large areas of eastern Libya. Services are expected to resume on Monday as maintenance teams have already began the process of fixing some technical imbalances yesterday.

The head of the media office of the central and eastern region Brega Oil Company, Adel Ben Dardaf, confirmed the docking of the fuel tanker Leander at Brega port which arrived from Zawiyah carrying thirteen million liters of petrol. Dardaf confirmed the launch of operations to pump the petrol to the reservoir in preparation for transferring the quantity to tanks in Ras AlMungar in the city of Benghazi to be distributed to petrol filling stations in the eastern region.

The Minister of Education of the UN proposed government, Osman Abdul Jalil, expressed his deep discontent at the level of neglect of the educational structure in the southern region, after returning from a tour there. Abdul Jalil confirmed that he met parents, teachers and deans of colleges from all different sides of the spectrum who showed him the level of their suffering. The minister said he would call on the government to set up a special fund called the Fund for the Reconstruction of the Education System in the South and assign specialized committees to coordinate with the people of the south to rebuild the system and raise the efficiency and quality of teachers.
