The municipalities of Al-Jabal, Batin AL-Jabal, Western Coast, and Tripoli's surrounding issued a statement Monday after a meeting Monday to reiterate the need for reconciliation among all Libyans, the necessity of putting the conflicts and personal interests aside and taking care of the homeland by being unified across the country, and the fact that all Libyans whether political , military, religious, or media figures must sit on one table and discard the conflicts and make room for any initiative that can end Libya's crisis and bring stability and security back to it.

The Italian Interior Minister, Angelino Alfano, said his country is willing to cooperate with Libya in order to stem the flow of migrants from the Libyan coast to Italy in general and Europe in particular, pointing out that Europe is facing a possible collapse due to the growing number of migrants. “British people voted in favor of leaving the EU due to fears of refugees.” He added.

Media outlets confirmed that resumption of entrance of the Libyan cars into Egypt via Al-Salloum border in eastern Libya will take effect in ten days. Libyan cars have been banned from entering Egypt via Al-Salloum border by the Egyptian authorities with the excuse of not having the “International Club License” for travelling around countries. This step led to a crisis on the border between Libya and Egypt and thus caused crowds of families and travelers on the border crossing.

Libyan Central Bank said in a letter to the CEO’s of the commercial banks and the Overseas Libyan Bank on Sunday that the budget allocated for the industry firms, telecom firms, and the aviation ones as well as the franchise owners for medicines and baby milk, has been increased from 5% to 10% out of the general budget for 2016. The CBL also decided that those firms must deal with only three specific banks regarding obtaining new letters of credit.

Tobruk Municipality’s Committee for Crisis and Emergency called on the displaced families, who are living in the dormitory of the Education Faculty of Tobruk University, to evacuate it in no more than a week. The committte added that it agreed with the university to use the dorm for three months only, but the displaced families have been in there for 18 months so far with a number of almost 36 families from Derna, Benghazi which constitutes the majority, Tawergha, and Sirte.

The Ministry of Education in the UN-installed government has demanded the General Authority of Communication and Informatics to block social media sites in Libya over exam leaks. The request was made by minister Mohammed Ezzabi during his meeting with the chairman of the authority Sami Fintazi in Tripoli on Sunday.

Production at El Sarir oil field in east Libya was totally disrupted on Monday due to the  in Tobruk, bringing the country's current 220.000 bpd crude output to only 55.000 bpd.
