A diplomatic source said Khalifa Haftar will meet with Fayez Al-Sirraj on Tuesday in Paris to engage in talks under the auspices of France to resolve Libya's crisis. Reuters reported the source as saying that Haftar is in Paris already and Al-Sirraj is yet to arrive. France also invited the UNSMIL Head Ghassan Salame.

Ajdabiya, Brega, Khalij Sidra, Zueitina and Al-Baydan municipalities agreed to form Oil Crescent Municipalities Union with the presidency being circulated for each mayor for three months.

The Libyan Football Federation's contests committee has set the dates of the premier, first, second, third and other football leagues for 2017-2018 season. The premier soccer league to kick off on August 15, the first league on September 15, and the rest on October 01.

Misrata mayor Mohammed Eshtiwi said a delegation from east Libya will arrive in the city in the coming days, denying that HoR Speaker Aqilah Saleh will be heading the delegation as reported by media. Eshtiwi announced earlier preparations for a meeting with Benghazi mayor Abdelrahman Al-Abbar.

The Presidential Council announced Sunday exempting medicines and medical equipment from the customs tariffs as per decree 640 for 2017. The decree is doable starting the day it is issued for the benefit of the greater good of Libya, the PC added.

Hay Al-Andalus municipality continues the campaign it started in the aim of removing kiosks, buildings, and houses that are built randomly in the area. The campaign said on Facebook that they removed on Saturday and Sunday the random buildings outside Sooq Al-Thulatas, which were defacing the area.

A number of Tobruk residents took to the streets protesting living conditions and especially the acute shortage of water, which is threatening the city with an upcoming humanitarian dilemma. The protesters gave the HoR one week to resolve the water crisis or else they would escalate things further and shut the HoR meetings in the city as well as shut down the Hariga oil port.

Chairman of the steering committee at Al-Itihad sports club, Abdelwahab Al-Shames, said Moahmed Zabyea had signed a contract for one season with the team on Sunday. He added that Zabyea will play for Al-Itihad this season starting August 15.

Benghazi support committee said it cannot pay housing rents for the IDPs from Benghazi living in Tripoli and western region's areas as it has been doing so since November 2014. It said it will stop paying these rents as the crisis has lingered longer than expected without involvement of official authorities to support the IDPs and as the committee has been indebted amid the current shortage of cash in Libya.
