Tobruk-based House of Representatives' defense and national security committee warned the Algerian Minister of African and Maghreb Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel, of visiting southern Libya without prior permit as if the region was part of Algeria, according to the statement, which added that his visit was a violation of Libya's sovereignty.

Algerian Minister of African and Maghreb Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel, arrived in Ghadames after ending his visit in Ghat. He met with the municipal council members and the Shura Council members as part of nationwide efforts by Algeria to bridge the gap among Libyan conflicting parties. Messahel visited last month Tripoli, Misrata, Tobruk and Zintan.

First charity gallery for arts kicked off in Tripoli old town on Saturday and will finish on Monday. The gallery features the slogan "For a free country." There were donations (20 paintings) made by Libyan artists to the gallery for needy families before the coming of Ramadan.
