The information center of Bunyan Marsoos Operation has stated that there are bodies of ISIS elements in the city of Sirte, which were not recovered due to lack of capability to recover such bodies.
The center stated on their official Facebook page that security authorities in Misrata are holding hundreds of ISIS members’ bodies from approximately twenty four different Arab and foreign nationalities since the end of the mission in Sirte, at a time when many countries have so far refused to recover the bodies of their citizens.

The leader of Dignity Operation forces, Khalifa Heftar, stated that Saif Islam Gaddafi is free and in a safe place. Heftar expressed that he welcomed the idea of the son of the late dictator Muammar Gaddafi playing a political role, if he wished to in the future. In an interview with Al-Hayat newspaper, Heftar also stressed that he has no problems with moderate Muslim Brotherhood members but could never deal with the extremist elements. Heftar said the Paris agreement would be implemented and aimed at moving from chaos to nation-building.

The National Front political party denounced the list of so called terrorists and terror organisations issued by countries besieging of Qatar, which included Libyan entities and citizens.
The head of the party, also a member of the LPA dialogue team Abdullah Rafadi expressed a strong rejection of any attempt by any party, state, organization or institution, to infringe on the freedom of media and press outlets expressing their view as well as the right of individuals in obtaining information.

The Presidential Council of the UN proposed Government has approved a financial reward of 5,000 Libyan Dinars to members of the Operations Room of the Bunyan Marsoos Operation for their efforts in the battle to liberate Sirte from ISIS, according to a statement made by the Presidential Council.
The decree stipulates that 150 million Dinars will be allocated for this purpose and the value of the reward will be deposited in the personal accounts of members of the Bunyan Marsoos Operation.

The Administrative Control Board has issued a decision to suspend AbdulMalik Safrani, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the General Company for Paper and Printing from his position.
The Authority said in a statement that the suspension came for reasons of public interest, pursuant to the provisions of Law No. (20) of 2013 and its executive regulations.

The head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Achim Steiner, held discussions with the head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanalla on ways of cooperation between the two entities.

The press office of the NOC stated that Sanalla held a series of high-level meetings at the United Nations headquarters in New York on sustainable development programs that could contribute to stimulating the local economy in the areas of production and oil operations, this would lead to more joint programs to build a higher capacity and create more jobs in various fields.

The Minister of Education of the UN proposed government Othman AbdulJalil has decided to suspend a student of the Al-Ula school of education in the town of Surman, 60 km west of the capital Tripoli from continuing his studies for two years, after threatening the examination staff with weapons.
The Information Office of the Ministry of Education published Decision No. 1079 for the year 2017 concerning the suspension of Muhannad AbdulKarim, who was studying at the Al-Ula School for private education in Surman, and canceling all his taken tests and any that followed.

The eastern Libyan city of Bayda has recorded two new suicide cases, one of them was a 20-year-old who threw himself from the sixth floor of a building, while the other case was an 11-year-old girl. These cases are the latest in a series of mysterious suicides that have rocked the city for months.

The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said that a group of rogue outlaws broke into the No. 2 power station of the Man-Made River, located in the Mount Hasawneh, and stole the entire equipment of the station while holding the operators hostage.

The station operators were threatened with weapons, and then they were thrown handcuffed near the water wells. The General Electricity Company announced the evacuation of their staff at the Mount Hasawneh station as a result of this criminal act, which could result in water cuts in central Libyan cities.
