Royal Dutch Shell stated on Saturday that a 600,000 barrel crude oil shipment left the port of Zwuitina, making it the company's first shipment from Libya in five years.
A spokesman for Shell said in a statement quoted by Reuters that Libya's natural resources are very large and Shell has a history in marketing Libya's raw materials.
The oil giant welcomed new business opportunities with the National Oil Corporation in Libya.
