Security forces in the eastern city of Bayda raided Friday residence of Omer Mukhtar University and arrested several Tabu students.
Sources said the Tabu students were stopped for several hours following false claims that nonresident students were using their mobile phone cameras to film security buildings and locations in the city. They were released after contacts of Tabu tribe elders with their eastern counterparts.
