The National Oil Corporation (NOC) said that the production of crude oil pumped by the German company Wintershall rose their output to 26 thousand barrels per day with a gradual resumption to previous production levels in the oil fields after a contractual dispute.

NOC had arrived to a temporary agreement with Wintershall to resume production at the oil fields that they operate, the agreement stipulated that the German company would receive enough production contracts to cover their expenses.

According to the NOC, the agreement with Wintershall will also allow the resumption of production in other fields, after they had ceased operations due to the pipelines connecting the facilities.
