Benina airport will resume flights starting from July 15, according to the airport's administration's Facebook page.

It also said that three local airliners - Afriqiyah Airways, Libyan Airlines, and Air Libya - will schedule flights from the airport in Benghazi.

Benina airport resumed flights partially on June 11, when some exceptional flights for Umrah goers took off to Mecca.

In June as well, Oil Airlines conducted flights from and to Benina airport in Benghazi and oilfields.

On May 11, the first civilian flight arrived in Benina airport for Afriqiyah Airways bringing an Egyptian delegation from Cairo Airport after three years of shutdown due to clashes that started in May 2014.
