A ceiling at Al-Jala Hospital in Tripoli has been collapsed with no reports of casualties, sources say.

Sources from the capital's only public children's hospital said part of the ceiling of the doctors' room in unit 3 collapsed despite recent repair of cracks, but fortunately no one was inside.

The hospital is complaining of neglect from the government. There are concerns that other ceilings would also collapse due to the dilapidated hospital building.

It's the third ceiling to collapse since 2013, the sources added.

The hospital has become a cause of worry for both doctors and patients.
