The Anti-Corruption Authority in Benghazi has called on the security borders' general directorate to list the President of the London-based think tank Quilliam, Noman Ben Otman for immediate arrest over his "criticism of Khalifa Haftar" and his description of Haftar as "the mutinous."

In a letter by the Anti-Corruption Authority to the directorate of borders security on Monday, it said "The Field Marshal and the general command are red lines."

It added that the order of detaining Ben Otman comes after "the terrorist's" statements on Libya Al-Ahrar TV Channel, describing it as "The Muslim Brotherhood outlet," in which he closed his boundaries by talking about the "the chief commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces Khalifa Haftar," adding that "this is also an insult to all Libyan army fighters who liberated the south from African mercenaries and the remnants of ISIS."

Ben Otman was previously a staunch follower of Haftar but had lately changed rhetoric and started calling Haftar a "mutinous, dictator and tyrant."
