Sabratha announced Tuesday the formation of a joint force and a common operations room that includes military and police officers who were fighting IS militias lately in the city.

The joint force will be tasked to pursue the military action against the IS militants and their loyalists in the city, pointing that a hotline for the common operations room was put out to the public to enable them to report those who shelter IS militants or provide them with support in Sabratha.

“The residents of the city can also use the hotline to report any strange devices or moves they suspect that IS militants have used around the city to terrify the civilian community.” The announcement includes.

Last week, revolutionaries and brigades from Sabratha city waged a ferocious war on the lurking spots of the IS militants around the city clashing with them and then cleansing almost the entire city from their terrorist threat on the residents.
