Head of HoR's Foreign Affairs Committee: Turkey's support for Libya's stability is vital
The Head of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR), Youssef Al-Agouri, said that Turkey is an important country on the international scene, expressing his aspiration to support stability in Libya.
Al-Agouri's statement came during a meeting with the Turkish Consul, Sarkan Karmanlioglu, at the headquarters of the Council's office in Benghazi, according to the HoR's spokesman, Abdullah Blehiq.
NOC urges number of companies to complete projects to increase production
The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has called on the companies of Zueitina, Nafusa, and Sarir to complete their production increase projects and emphasized the need to enhance operational safety.
This came during the annual meetings of the NOC’s board of directors with these companies.
The meetings discussed the plans and projects for 2025 and the required budget, as well as reviewed the activities of 2024, which included Zueitina’s actual operations in blocks 103 and 74/29 in the Ghadames Basin, according to the NOC.
Libya Cup returns after two-season hiatus
The Libyan Football Federation’s (LFF) Competition Committee has announced the return of the Libya Cup, marking the 24th edition of the tournament after a two-season break.
In a circular addressed to registered clubs, the committee confirmed that participation is mandatory for all 35 Premier League teams.
Meanwhile, clubs in the first, second, and third divisions have been given a three-day window to voluntarily confirm their involvement.
