Head of HoR's Foreign Affairs Committee: Turkey's support for Libya's stability is vital
The Head of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR), Youssef Al-Agouri, said that Turkey is an important country on the international scene, expressing his aspiration to support stability in Libya.
Al-Agouri's statement came during a meeting with the Turkish Consul, Sarkan Karmanlioglu, at the headquarters of the Council's office in Benghazi, according to the HoR's spokesman, Abdullah Blehiq.
Finance Minister expects unified budget for 2025 to be approved in coming days
The Minister of Finance in the Government of National Unity Khalid Al-Mabrouk revealed that the general budget of the state will be approved by the House of Representatives in the coming days.
Al-Mabrouk added in a statement to CNBC Arabia that the Ministry is currently working according to the state financial law 1/12, and that they have continued with this approach since the beginning of the year until the budget is approved. He said that the budget surplus depends entirely on changes in oil prices as it is the only source and the surplus will be affected by it.
Libya Cup returns after two-season hiatus
The Libyan Football Federation’s (LFF) Competition Committee has announced the return of the Libya Cup, marking the 24th edition of the tournament after a two-season break.
In a circular addressed to registered clubs, the committee confirmed that participation is mandatory for all 35 Premier League teams.
Meanwhile, clubs in the first, second, and third divisions have been given a three-day window to voluntarily confirm their involvement.
