Interior Minister, Koury review illegal immigration
The Minister-designate of Interior Emad Al-Trabelsi, discussed with the Deputy UN Envoy, Stephanie Khoury, several security issues, especially illegal immigration file, and the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to address it.
The meeting discussed the voluntary deportation program for immigrants to their countries, in addition to the Ministry's security plan to enhance the presence of police officers in various cities and regions, and to protect public institutions and private property.
IMF calls for agreement on unified 2025 budget in Libya
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that the recovery in oil production in Libya contributed to adjusting the country's GDP growth forecasts for next year. IMF expected in a report following the conclusion of its delegation's visit to Libya that the country would record an increase in GDP growth during 2025, noting that it remains largely unchanged in the medium term, given that GDP growth and the external balance are expected to decline in 2024.

Libya braces for heavy rainfall and flash floods
The National Safety Authority has raised its preparedness level across all branches nationwide following warnings of severe weather conditions. The National Meteorological Centre has forecast heavy rainfall in the Greater Tripoli region starting Thursday, with the potential for thunderstorms and flash flooding in several areas.

Municipal elections nullify invalid arguments
