The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), expected the temperature to remain relatively moderate in most eastern and southern regions, ranging between (18-24 °C), while they are lower in the northwestern regions, ranging between (14-19°C)°. The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that clouds will increase from this evening in some areas of the north, center and south with scattered rain and the opportunity will be better tomorrow in (Sirte - Abu Qarain - Al-Jufra areas and its surroundings - Zalla - Marada – the Gulf - Benghazi Plain - Green Mountain - Tobruk and its south, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.
Dbeibah: We managed to keep oil away from politics
The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah said that "I succeeded in adopting difficult policies that ensure that oil is neutralized from any political exploitation, and its revenues are spent in accordance with state legislation in a manner consistent with governance and oversight."
CAF slaps Libya fans with two-match ban, $50.000 fine
The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided on Sunday to punish the Libyan Football Federation by banning fans from attending two matches of the Libyan national team, with a fine of 50.000 dollars.
CAF said on its website that the penalty was due to the incidents that occurred during the match between the Libyan national team and Benin, which was held in Tripoli on November 18.
Tripoli among Africa’s most affordable cities for 2025
Tripoli has been ranked as one of Africa’s top five cities with the lowest cost of living for 2025, according to Business Insider Africa.
The rankings, derived from data analyzed by the global database Numbeo, place the Libyan capital in third position on the continent and 15th globally, with a cost of living index score of 20.6.
Education Minister launches "Libyan Reading Challenge" initiative
The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity, Mousa Al-Magaryef, announced the launching of the "Libyan Reading Challenge" initiative and the establishment of the electronic library, during his chairmanship of the first meeting of the coordinators of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative, on Thursday.
The meeting was held in the meeting hall of the Libyan National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, in the presence of the initiative's coordinator in Libya, Ali Kanun, according to what the ministry published on its Facebook page.
Dbeibah awards medics of Tripoli Eye Hospital
Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah honored on Saturday the medical, paramedical and administrative personnel at the Eye Hospital in Tripoli, in appreciation of the exceptional efforts they made during 2024.
