The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) announced on Sunday the readiness of the forms for granting final approvals to exchange companies and offices based on its announcement issued on October 17 regarding the regulation of foreign exchange buying and selling operations by reactivating exchange companies and offices.

Libya's Derna to host Africa Minifootball Cup

The African Minifootball Confederation (AMC) announced the date of the draw ceremony for the Africa Minifootball Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Libya next year, setting December 16, 2024 as the date for the draw in Derna. 

The draw ceremony is scheduled to be attended by many international figures and a number of officials from the International Federation of Minifootball, as well as all the presidents of the federations in the African countries, according to the official page of the AMC.

"Libya Clean" exhibition to be launched on November 9

The Ministry of Local Governing of the Government of National Unity announced the launching of the second edition of the "Libya Clean" exhibition for the environment and cleaning services on November 9, saying it will continue for four days.

This came during a meeting organized by the General Administration of Environmental Sanitation Affairs at the Ministry on Saturday to officially announce the date of the exhibition's launching in the presence of a number of sponsoring and participating entities and companies.

Dbeibah pushes for localizing medical treatment at Cardiology Conference

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has reiterated his government's commitment to localizing medical treatment and improving the skills of cardiologists, especially younger doctors. 

Speaking at the 10th Libyan Cardiology Association conference in Misrata on Friday, Dbeibah emphasized the significance of cardiology as a critical medical field affecting citizens’ lives.

He also commended the contribution of 90 medical students who volunteered in the event’s organization.

It seems so, because an agreement was reached under the auspices of the acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, and was signed by the representatives of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, after agreeing on the new governor and his deputy.

The Presidential Council succeeded in achieving a long-awaited change, or more precisely, succeeded in pushing the two houses to activate a task that is part of their responsibilities, which is to select and assign competent and capable figures to sovereign positions according to the political agreement.
