Project work of new Misrata International Airport is complete by 50%

The Government of National Unity (GNU) announced the completion of 50% of the construction work on the new Misrata International Airport project, which is considered one of the vital projects to support the aviation sector infrastructure in Libya.

The project is being built on an area of ​​24,000 square meters, with a capacity of up to 3.5 million passengers annually. It features modern equipment with international standards, including four aircraft gates and 15 stations dedicated to passenger boarding procedures, and it aims to improve the travel experience and increase operational efficiency.

Al-Waha oil company registers highest production in 11 years

Al -Waha Oil Company has registered its highest oil production in more than 11 years, according to what the National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Wednesday.

The daily production of the company reached 350.549 barrels of crude out of 1.380.470 barrels produced during the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by the NOC, which added that the production of gas in Libya reached 198.190 barrels, considering these numbers as evidence of an upward increase in production.

The Libyan national football team secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Rwanda on Thursday evening in Kigali during the fifth round of qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Morocco next year.
