Africa Intelligence reveals US plan to reintegrate militants in Libya
The Africa Intelligence website revealed a US plan to disarm armed groups in Libya via the Washington-based Chemonics International firm.
According to the French website, the company, which is the main partner of the US State Department in Libyan projects, received around $15 million last year to disarm, dissolve and reintegrate armed groups.

Response operations in flood-hit communities at risk amid lack of funding
Head of the Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons, Kamal Al-Siwi, has cautioned that their operations may be jeopardized if they do not receive adequate funding to respond in the flood-affected regions.
In a press statement, Al-Siwi noted that despite the lack of financial resources, their teams are still providing services in Derna, which was severely impacted by the floods.
Al-Qaib, Bosnian ambassador discuss cooperation in higher education
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Imran Al-Qaib met on Sunday with the Bosnian Ambassador to Liya, Nermin Misnovic, to discuss cooperation in the field of higher education between the two countries.
Al-Qaib presented during the meeting a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation to be studied by the Bosnian side.
The proposal includes dispatching campus assistants, faculty members, outstanding students, and rare medical specialities students to universities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Misrata reopens health complex after a decade-long wait
Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah attended a ceremony on Saturday to mark the reopening of the Misrata Golden Clinic Complex after undergoing maintenance work.
In his address, the PM deemed the development a crucial step towards
reforming the "dilapidated" health sector, noting that 27 health facilities have been developed across various cities, including new sections and intensive care rooms.
The Misrata Golden Clinic Complex had been out of operation for over a decade, but now it has been restored with all its historical significance, the Dbeibah said.
