Libya's Foreign Minister reiterates support for international efforts to stabilize Africa
The Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour reaffirmed Libya's support for all international efforts to achieve security and stability and to combat terrorism and extremism in Africa.
This came during Al-Baour's speech at the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, which was held in the city of Sochi in Russia, where Al-Baour headed the Libyan delegation participating in the activities of the international conference.
Libya offers new round of bidding for oil and gas exploration
The Minister of Oil and Gas of the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, confirmed the ministry's intention to conduct a new round of bidding for oil and natural gas exploration, the first since 2011, with plans to implement oil projects worth $17 billion, and raise oil production to two million barrels per day by 2028.
