African Union Commission proposes holding Libyan Reconciliation Conference

The Chairman of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki has proposed to the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj holding a National Reconciliation Conference.

The proposal came as Faki visited Al-Sarraj on Monday in Tripoli with a high-profile AU delegation.

Tripoli Protection Force to unite military zones from Libya's Ras Ajdair to Sirte

The Tripoli Protection Force (TPF) said the central and western military zones had agreed to form a force under a unified command to be positioned in the area from Ras Ajdair on border with Tunisia to Sirte.

TPF added in a statement Sunday that the aim is to prevail security in the area and reject having the western region as a battlefield among Libyans.
