Erdogan: Turkey denounces conspiracy against Libya

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday his country denounces the offensive against Tripoli and decries the conspiracy against Libya's stability.

Erdogan added in a phone call with the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj that Turkey will use its capabilities to prevent this conspiracy from befalling Libyans.

US Senator Graham: Haftar cannot control Libya with military force

The US Republican Senator, Lindsey Graham, who is also a member of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, said Sunday that President Donald Trump's phone call to "warlord Khalifa Haftar" had an "unnerving" effect in the region.

Speaking to CBS, Sen. Graham said he doesn't know what the phone call to Haftar was about, but it had an unnerving effect on the ground.

Libya's Interior Minister: Aircraft striking Tripoli belong to two Arab countries

The Libyan Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha said the Presidential Council's government has evidence that foreign aircraft have been involved in the attack on Tripoli, saying there is an investigation underway in coordination with the UN.

In a press conference in Tunisia with his Tunisian counterpart, Bashagha said the accuracy of the airstrikes on Tripoli points to warplanes owned by only two Arab countries.

Libya's Mufti urges people to forget the past to save their country

The Libyan Mufti, Sheikh Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani has called on Libyans to be united in order to save the country, which he said is under destruction threats, urging them as well to leave the past behind and start over for the sake of Libya.

The Mufti urged the fighters, whom he described as fighting "invading mercenaries and setting an example by their sacrifices for the unity of all Libyan parties: Presidential Council, High Council of State, General National Congress members and others" for unity.
