The Tripoli-based House of Representatives (HoR) has reiterated its rejection of attempts by some individuals and groups to take the Libyan file out of the United Nations hands, stressing that any move in this regard should involve all Libyan parties, as stipulated in the constitutional declaration and the political agreement.
The Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri rejected Sunday the deal made by the member of the Presidential Council Ahmed Mitig and Khalifa Haftar's son Khalid to resume oil production and exports, saying in a letter to the Presidential Council Head and members - two days after the deal was announced - that the deal violated Libyan Political Agreement laws.
The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj and German ambassador to Libya Oliver Owcza met in Tripoli Sunday and reiterated importance of committing to Berlin conference conclusions on Libya.

The deputy spokesman for the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq has confirmed that the UN and Germany are preparing for a Berlin II Conference to pick up from where the first conference of January 2020 has left.
Haq told the German news agency that the Berlin II Conference will be held on October 05 and it will be a virtual meeting (video conference).

The Tripoli University Hospital has conducted around 200 open-heart surgeries since it resumed cardiac operations last year.
The head of the cardiac surgery department at the hospital, Dr. Khaled Al-Talib emphasized they would continue to perform open-heart operations at the same pace.
