Libya's Al-Ahly Benghazi drew ES Tunis 0-0 on Wednesday in Egypt in the first-leg match of the second round of CAF Champions League.

ES Tunis possessed the ball most of the match time and their attack brought them many opportunities to score but Al-Ahly Benghazi managed to keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw in a first game the Libyan team plays in over 18 months.

Trump reiterates US support for Libya’s sovereignty, unity

The US President Donald Trump has reiterated Washington's commitment to supporting Libya to regain its unity and sovereignty, saying the ceasefire and progress of the political dialogue are good signs for ending conflicts in the country.

Trump's remarks came Wednesday in a letter to Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj on the occasion of Libya Independence Day, which will be celebrated by Libyans on December 24, according to the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Mohammad Al-Giblawi.

ICC team investigating Haftar's crimes conclude third visit to Libya

A team from the International Criminal Court (ICC) concluded a third visit to Libya on Wednesday after looking into Khalifa Haftar's war crimes in the country.

The Libyan Foreign Ministry said the team of the ICC appointed by Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda ended the third visit to Libya investigating crimes against civilians, adding that it is committed to Security Council resolution (1970 of 2011) which mandated the ICC to look into Libya situation and that Libyan authorities support ICC work in ending impunity.

Tobruk HoR Speaker dismisses 35 members, refers them to Public Prosecutor

Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) said its Speaker Aqila Saleh referred 35 members, who are meeting at the Tripoli-based HoR, to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and terminated their posts as MPs.

A letter from Saleh to the Interim Government's Public Prosecutor said the 35 members "are not attending sessions and defectors from the legitimate parliament as they formed a parallel HoR in Tripoli in violation of the constitutional declaration and the internal laws of the parliament itself.

Tadrart Acacus is a World Heritage Site, well known thousands of prehistoric cave paintings, dating from 12000 BC to 100 AD, and its alien-like, jagged landscape of bizarre basalt monoliths, towering granite mountains (the highest point being 1506m), endless wadis, and mushroom-shaped rock formations. The rock-art sites of Tadrart Acacus are found in a vast area of desert landscape around the town of Ghat in south-western Libya. 

Libyan Ittihad loses 1-0 to Egyptian Pyramids

Ittihad FC lost to Egyptian Pyramids, 1-0 in the match held at Alexandria Stadium Tuesday, as part of the first leg of the round of 32 of the African Confederation Cup.

In the first half, both teams failed to live up to their fans' expectations, although the Egyptian Pyramids struggled to create danger but did not manage a shot on target despite their opportunities.

On the other hand, Ittihad did not generate much in attack and focused more on keeping their net clean.
