The US-based Democracy and Human Rights Foundation (DHRF) has obtained intelligence, proving the presence of regular Russian troops near Al-Jufra Airbase.
"The presence of these troops makes it clear that Russia has no intention to leave Libya anytime soon," the DHRF said in a statement Thursday.
The High Council of State (HCS) has emphasized that the approval of the general election law is within the competence of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the HCS following Article 23 of the Political Agreement.
"Any unilateral action by the two sides is considered unacceptable by the provisions of the constitutional declaration," the council stated.
The National Oil Corporation (NOC) confirmed on Friday that it has no standing or relationship of any kind with the Emirati businesswoman and fashion designer, Hend Al-Qasimi.
This came as a response to the participation of Al-Qasimi in CC Forum Monaco Forum on Global Investment in Sustainable Development as an alleged member of the Libyan NOC and the Military Investment Authority.
The spokeswoman for the European External Action Service (EEAS), Nabila Massrali, said on Monday that the European Union (EU) is not planning on sending a military mission to Libya to prop up the ceasefire in the country.
Maserati indicated that there is no discussion at the moment about an EU military mission in Libya.
