Government launches system for applying for housing loans

The committee in charge of implementing the Prime Minister's initiative for youth housing announced the launch of the registration system for housing loans.

Local Government Minister Badr al-Din al-Toumi said the approval processes for loans are not based on the priority of registration but rather on the person's need for them, and that priority will be given to families and youth in need.

Public Prosecutor Al-Siddiq Al-Sour has ordered an investigation into the incident of facilitating the crime of seizing a sum of one million and 800 thousand dinars after it was deposited in a bank account managed by a Palestinian expatriate.
