The Chairman of Civil Registration Authority Siddiq Nahaisi was wounded in an attack on the authority on Monday.
The CRA said a militia group stormed its HQs in Draibi district of Tripoli Monday morning and assaulted the staff and managers.
Chairman of the authority Siddiq Nahaisi was shot in the stomach and hand, but he was lucky to survive. He was admitted to Tripoli Central Hospital and his health condition is said to be stable now.
One of his top aides was also wounded in the attack, sources said.
The identity of the armed group was not revealed.
