Militias of war-lord, Khalifa Haftar executed two of Tripoli's residents, who were identified to be Khaled Almutamad and Abdullah Jabour, after kidnapping them on the coastal road of Garabulli district, on July 27th.

A relative of Almutamad told The Libya Observer that the victims were on their way to Ghanima area when a group of Haftar's militias kidnapped them and took them to Tarhouna city, where both were executed immediately.

The family of Almutamed received his body on Monday, after tribal mediation through Mohsen al-Kani, commander of al-Kani militia in Tarhuona; one of the most important armed factions in Haftar's war on Tripoli.

Almutamed was buried Tuesday in a cemetery in Souk Al-Jum'aa area.

Haftar's militias still refuse to hand over the body of the other victim Jabour of Misrata descent while negotiations are underway to hand over the body through the Libyan Red Crescent.

It is noteworthy that Khaled Almutamad and Abdullah Jabour are businessmen from Tripoli, according to their families they did not join any military or armed body.
