On Friday evening, the torch of the 44th version of Tripoli International Exhibition was lit to mark its start as a mass of people set off on foot from Martyrs Square and from Al-Madina sports club to reach the historical gate of the Exhibition building, which comes at the heart of Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Tripoli.

Mayors of Tripoli Municipalities, the Chairman and managers of the Exhibitions General Association and some commerce and economy activists and specialized persons were part of the rally along with a fine number of Tripoli citizens.
