The annual meeting of the Libyan Industry Union kicked off in Tripoli on Monday under the theme "We Meet to Compete."
The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh, alongside Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al-Huwaij, officials from the Ministry of Industry, and representatives from various companies.
Salem Aneyba, Deputy Chairman of the Industry Union, highlighted the strong participation of companies from diverse sectors, calling for greater opportunities to be opened for Libya’s industrial sector.
Aneyba underlined the importance of supporting and advancing local industries, stressing that this is a shared responsibility between the government and private sector stakeholders.
The forum aims to serve as a platform for experts and industry specialists to address key challenges, discuss pressing issues in the national industrial sector, and propose solutions to overcome existing obstacles.
