‎Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah reviewed with the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Obeid, the economic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation.

This came during Dbeibah's meeting on Sunday with a delegation that included officials from the Tunisian Ministry of Trade and the Tunisian Union of Trade and Industry, in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huweij, the Minister of Transport, the Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, and the Head of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.

Dbeibah stressed the importance of convening the Libyan-Tunisian Joint Economic Committee as soon as possible, with the aim of advancing trade and economic cooperation between Libya and Tunisia. He called for the need to intensify joint efforts to develop economic partnerships in a way that achieves the interests of the two sides. 

The Tunisian Minister informed the Prime Minister of the results of his consultations with his Libyan counterpart, which included proposals to support trade partnerships and facilitate trade exchange between the two countries.
