The Ministry of Finance of the Presidential Council has strongly condemned the armed attacks on the oil crescent region, describing it as "a terrorist act."

The ministry confirmed in a statement the remarks made by the head of the National Oil Corporation concerning the losses caused by this attack estimated to be $ 880 million per month, demanding the punishment of the perpetrators responsible.

The oil crescent region is witnessing since last Wednesday armed clashes between the forces of Haftar and Ibrahim Jadran.
