A deal to export 10,000 tons of hot briquette is now underway through a port in Misrata, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company announced on Thursday.
"Export operations are proceeding at a distinguished pace and will continue to reach 64 thousand tons during this period," the company said on Facebook.
The marketing manager of Iron and Steel said the company struck deals with several international firms to export 72,000 tons of reinforcing steel.
According to the company's official, the first shipment will set off by the end of this month with a quantity of 12,000 tons, provided that the remaining portion will be exported successively during the first week of February.
The company said its products reached more than 38 countries thanks to its quality, leadership, and competitive prices.
