Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hweij, met with German Ambassador Ralf Tarraf to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and advancing economic cooperation between the two nations.

During the talks, both sides focused on implementing the agreements reached during the Libyan-German Economic Forum.

The discussions also explored strategies for boosting trade and investment collaboration, according to a statement released by the Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade on Tuesday.

Minister Al-Hweij highlighted the importance of activating the Libyan-German Chamber of Commerce to facilitate partnerships and support business initiatives.

He called on German companies and investors to play a key role in Libya's reconstruction and infrastructure development projects, which are a priority for the national government.
