The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Huwaij has discussed with the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Obeid, economic and trade relations between the two countries.
This came during a meeting held in Cairo on the sidelines of the meeting of the Economic and Social Council at the level of Arab ministers.
The meeting discussed ways to facilitate inter-trade, support joint investment projects between the public and private sectors of both countries, and cooperation in regional and international economic forums to unify visions on development and investment.
The meeting stressed the importance of formulating a clear vision to develop transit trade between the two sides, implementing the outcomes of the Libyan-Tunisian Joint Economic Committee, and activating what was agreed upon during the visit of the Tunisian Minister of Trade to Libya last December to ensure economic and commercial integration.
