The ninth African Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Exhibition 'PetroAfrica' edition opened Tuesday at the Karam Exhibition Palace in Tunis.
The exhibition organizer, Basma Al-Hamaidi, confirmed the attendance of all 220 delegations participating in the exhibition from several countries such as Algeria, France, Italy, Malta, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and China, in addition to a large and high-level delegation from Libya.
Libya is participating with a high-level delegation in the exhibition of petroleum and insurance companies in the oil sector. The head of the participating Libyan delegation, Younis Al-Baskari, confirmed in a statement to Tunisian Express FM radio that the Libyan participation confirms the real economic partnership between Libyan and Tunisian petroleum companies.
Al-Baskari spoke about what he described as economic and commercial integration between Libya and Tunisia, highlighting that the PetroAfrica exhibition would be an opportunity for Tunisian companies to establish real partnerships and invest in Libya. He said that there was a great opportunity for Tunisian companies to enter the Libyan market, praising the skills of the Tunisian workers in Libya.
