The Minister of Finance of the Presidential Council, Osama Saad Hammad, said that the ministry completed all financial arrangements for 2017 and worked to implement them despite all obstacles.
Hammad added in a statement issued on Thursday that the Ministry of Finance did not differentiate between any Libyan regions and did not classify citizens according to their regions.
The Minister of Finance called on all parties to give priority to the interests of the country and move forward in accordance with the Paris Agreement, stressing the importance of completing the elections.
It is worth noting that member of the Presidential Council, Fathi Majbari, had withdrawn from the Presidential Council, calling on the Finance Minister, Osama Hammad, to also follow in his footsteps.
