The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Al-Mahdi Al-Amin, gave a briefing to Fayez Al-Sarraj, Chairman of the Presidential Council, on the latest developments regarding the implementation of the decision to employ and train unemployed youth.

The meeting reviewed the inventory results of jobseekers who fulfill qualifications for employment and training, from all over Libya, including the western, central, eastern, and southern regions.

"The Labour Ministry has a total of 244,500 registered job seekers in its system, of whom 525 are persons with disabilities," said the labour minister.

He also indicated that most of those registered in the jobseekers system come from the western region, followed by citizens of the eastern region, while fewer numbers have been recorded in the central and southern parts of the countries, noting that women make up the largest proportion of the unemployed jobseekers.
