The head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bengadara, emphasized transparency and cooperation during a meeting with the UN Security Council Panel of Experts on Libya sanctions.

This comes as the panel prepares its annual report on the country's political, economic, and security situation.

According to the NOC, Bengadara convened a meeting with the panel members on Monday, accompanied by Masoud Sleiman, the NOC Board Member for Oil Industries Affairs, Naeema Suwan, the Director General of the International Marketing Department, Anwar Aqil, the Director of the Production Department, and Fouad Belrahim, the Chairman of the Brega Company Management Committee.

During the meeting, Bengadara emphasized the need for relevant departments and companies to fully collaborate with the Panel of Experts.

He expressed the Corporation's commitment to support the panel's tasks by providing comprehensive responses to their inquiries and furnishing them with all necessary information, aiming to strengthen transparency, cooperation, and communication.
