An official in the Oil sector said Sunday that two oil tankers arrived in Al-Hariqa port in eastern Libya where they would be loaded with about 1.15 million barrels of crude oil.

Reuters reported another official as saying: “another tanker is expected to be loaded with 600 thousand barrels of oil in Al-Briga port in the east, too.”

It is unlikely that any more oil shipments would be loaded aboard tankers in the eastern Al-Zwitina port in the coming days due to the shutdown of its pipelines by the local job-seeking protesters.
