A group named "Oil Crescent Region Dignitaries" announced shutting down oil exports from the ports under the control of Khalifa Haftar's forces until their demands are answered by authorities.

The group said in a statement that oil exports were shut down at Zueitina, Ras Lanuf, Brega, and As Sidr ports, saying operations can return to normal after firing National Oil Corporation's Chairman Mustafa Sanallah.

The group urged also for the dismissal of all of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, demanding a new one made up of people from the Oil Crescent Region: from Tobruk in the east to Sidra in the west - an area of oil ports and fields.

Sources from the ports said exports were normal at the terminals and the group wanted to say that they would blockade oil exports if NOC Chairman wasn't sacked.
