The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation Mustafa Sanallah discussed with German ambassador to Libya Oliver Owcza the security status at oil ports and fields as well as the gradual resumption of oil production.

The meeting Tuesday saw Sanallah reiterate that the NOC was following closely the security situation at the oil facilities as production would be resumed, in addition to prioritizing the safety of the workers as well as facilities and equipment.

They also talked about cooperation between NOC and German firms in oil and gas operations.

Meanwhile, Arabian Gulf Oil Company's Chairman said they were preparing to operate and produce at Sarir and Msella fields as a million fuel barrels were taken out of Hariga oil port.

Delta Hills vessel arrived Wednesday at the port to load the barrels as per the measures and procedures to resume exports.
