The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huweij, inaugurated the sixth edition of the Libya Food Exhibition at the Tripoli International Fair.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, Issam Al-Oul, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade for Economic Affairs and Agriculture, Mohammed Al-Raeid, as well as several ambassadors, diplomats, and businesspeople.

The exhibition features extensive international participation from companies specializing in the food industry from countries including Italy, France, Turkey, the UAE, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Malta, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, India, Vietnam, Russia, Morocco, Germany, and Thailand.

The event hosts over 130 foreign companies and 91 local ones specializing in food industries, packaging technologies, and factory equipment. It extends until next Wednesday, offering a unique opportunity to showcase the latest products and technologies, facilitate connections between local and international companies, and enhance collaboration and investment opportunities in the food sector.
