Officials from Tripoli Medical Center and the medical crew of Italian Eni Oil and Gas Company conducted a consultation meeting in which the Italian company’s personnel offered to provide support and solutions for the hindrances that are impeding the center’s work.

According to the official Facebook page of the Tripoli Medical Center, Doctor Mohammed Ahneish, the General Director of the center along with his deputy and other directors and heads of departments attended the meeting.

“The proposed support plan, in its first stage, by Eni will be centered upon providing assistance in the pediatric and geriatric oncology departments, which has been until now suffering from an acute shortage in medicaments and hence badly affected the patient’s health stability.” The Tripoli Medical Center added.

The Eni medical crew also listened to a thorough explanation made by the center’s officials regarding the problems the center is facing, and the crew then promised to prepare a report about the center and present it to the relevant officials for them to activate the support plan.

The Tripoli Medical Center and Eni Oil and Gas Company also agreed on holding other forthcoming meetings to write down a mechanism by which the support can be done.
