The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, and Minister-designate of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, discussed in a meeting on Monday with the Czech ambassador to Libya and his accompanying delegation the project of the "Medofac" agreement, which will be signed between the Libyan Ministry of Health and the Czech Military Hospital, to train Libyan doctors in the field of physical medicine. The agreement will be implemented through the Emergency Medicine and Support Center.

The meeting reviewed the exchange of experiences and training in the fields of emergency, orthopedics, and neurosurgery, as well as the implementation of programs for visiting doctors to perform major surgeries inside Libya, in addition to easing visa requirements for Libyan patients.

In the meantime, the Czech ambassador voiced his country's aspiration to strengthen relations with Libya in various fields, and to boost cooperation agreements between Ministries of Health, calling on the Minister of Health to visit the Czech Ministry of Health and medical universities to discuss signing joint cooperation agreements.
