The countdown to the opening of the Libyan-Turkish Hospital in Misrata has begun, says the Turkish Karanfil Group supervising the implementation of the project.

"Turkish entrepreneurs continue, through business partnerships and investments, to contribute to ensuring Libya's recovery," a statement by the Turkish group stated, revealing that the opening day will be on November 28.

The group quoted its chairman Morteza Karanfil, as saying that the Libyan health system will notice "the Turkish touch" in the hospital.

Karanfil hoped that the hospital would benefit Libya, as the project would contribute to improving access to health services, as he put it.

"The medical services needed by thousands of Libyans will be provided through the Libyan-Turkish hospital," he added.

As the first Turkish hospital in Libya, the facility stands out for its technology and staff of Turkish doctors and specialists.

The hospital has a closed area of five thousand and 200 square meters, with 13 clinics and four operating rooms, in addition to a garage that can accommodate 60 cars.
