The Medical Supply Department received on Monday the final medicines shipment that contains medicament for variant purposes, consisting of 16 containers as part of a series of other shipments received earlier.

The Minister of Health in the Salvation Government, Ali Abu Sada, said that the 16 containers shipment is the final stage of an agreement signed by Libya with Serbia back in 2008 represented by the General Cooperation for Medicine Production and Himont Pharm Company and has been kicked off in stages since 2011.

The Head of the acting committee in the General Cooperation for Medicine Production, Ali Al-Yousifi, indicated that the agreement is a way to pay off debts to Libya by Serbia in the shape of medical shipments’ imports that value 16 million euros to be received in stages.
