The World Health Organization (WHO) in Libya published the total number of Covid-19 vaccines Libya had obtained until January 01, 2022.
The total vaccines purchased by the Libyan state amounted to 6,253,280: 5 million doses of Sinopharm and 906,500 doses of Sputnik, and 292.000 doses of AstraZeneca, and 54,780 doses of Pfizer.
The total vaccines obtained by Libya in the form of donations during the indicated period amounted to 2,444,280 doses: Pfizer vaccine with 1,408,680 doses, AstraZeneca 885,600 doses and Sinovac with 150,000 doses.
According to the statistics of the report, the total vaccine jabs obtained by Libya amounted to 8,697,560.
Meanwhile, the latest statistics published by the National Center for Disease Control said the number of people who received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine reached 2,210,577, while 1,138,504 people received the second dose, and 95,565 received the third booster dose, bringing the total number of administered vaccination doses to 3,444,646.
